History of the League

The bowling league has come a long way since its humble beginnings at the old Azetc Bowl in Buena Park.  Its orginal members were responsile for the forming of the "Mother Club" with the bowling league maintaining a subsidary status.

In June 1971, the children of the members were introduce to bowling.  This was the forerunner of our Junior Bowling program, wqhich produced many good bowlers. In November 1977, 14-year old Derrick Aiau bowled a 276 scratch game.  Not to out-done by the juniors, league member Doug Villaros rolled a perfect 300 game in March 1982 at Linbrook Bowl Invitational Tournament was started by Charles "Chuck" Plake.

Today's league has 16 full teams with 69 bowlers including subs.  They now call Linbrook Bowl in Anaheim home.  The League bowls Friday nights at 9:00pm.
