The Kamaaina Club of
Orange
County was established in 1969 with the sole purpose of bringing the Hawaiians
together. By doing so, they would be able to share the Aloha Spirit and Pride of the Islands.
Many Hawaiians moved
to California to create a better life and provide
for their families.
However, it was not without a cost. The Aloha Spirit soon became lost in the hustle and bustle of this new
city life.
With the creation of
KCOC, many families and friends are now able to come together to share and maintain the Aloha Spirit from our culture and
heritage.
As a club, we enjoy
the comradery of being Hawaiian within
the many diverse cultures
that make up Hawaii.
Today, KCOC represents
not only our past, but also the present along with the future of our children and their children to come. It is our responsibility
to teach them the meaning of our heritage. By teaching our children we can ensure our heritage for generations to come.
We hope you enjoy our
website.
